You are so much more than the challenges you’re experiencing today. It is possible to reclaim your life.

You’re here because you can’t keep going day-to-day feeling this way. It feels like life has been overtaken by this anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, or sense of never feeling good enough. You are suffering and you know something has to change.

If you’re a high-achieving professional, people may think you have it “all together,” when inside you’re struggling to actually feel the confidence you try to exude. You might be a mom who feels overwhelmed, is struggling under the weight of self-judgment, or feels disconnected from your family. Maybe you’re pouring from an empty cup. Perhaps you’re someone who finds themselves controlled by food, the way your body looks, or the number on the scale.

Something has stolen your sense of peace, joy, or fulfillment and now it is time to reclaim yourself.

I’m here to help you create the kind of life you want—one that’s specific to you, your goals, and your core values.

My Background & Approach

My approach to therapy is compassionate, warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. Together, we will work to separate you from the challenges or problems that feel like they have taken over or are holding you back from experiencing the life that you want. When you can begin to create some space between your true self and the challenge you’re experiencing, you are empowered to make changes in alignment with your strengths, values, wisdom, and goals for your life..

I believe therapy works better when it’s personal to you. Our work together is collaborative and individualized—we’re not following a manual or a set of generalized “steps.” I’ll take the time to understand your unique experiences and circumstances, so we can create and sustain deep and meaningful change in your life.

I take a holistic and integrative approach that incorporates positive psychology, narrative therapy, neurobiology, somatic principles (the brain-body connection), and other modalities when relevant. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a powerful tool to address issues and support healing, not just cognitively, but emotionally and physically as well.

Prior to my career in psychology, I worked as a Fortune 500 company Assistant Vice President & Legal Counsel and as an attorney at a global Am Law top 20 law firm. My 15 years of corporate, executive, and legal background brings additional breadth of perspective and understanding to my work with professionals and leaders.

I returned to psychology - one of my earliest passions and academic loves - in 2016 to pursue my desire to help people in a more personal and meaningful way. Today I serve as an adjunct faculty member at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where I teach clinical psychology graduate courses including Theories of Psychotherapy and Couples and Family Therapy.
