Insurance Information

We accept Tricare West Military Insurance and Optum PPO Plans. If your insurance covers ‘out-of-network providers’ they may also reimburse you for part of our fee.

Coastal Minds Counseling is a participating non-network provider.
What does this mean?
We are an authorized Tricare West provider who has not joined the Tricare network. As a participating non-network provider, you only have to pay your cost share when you visit us. We will submit claims on your behalf and collect the remaining allowable amount directly from Tricare.
Will I have a deductible?
Most Tricare plans include a $300 deductible that must be paid to the provider, by the client, before Tricare will begin to pay for services. In some instances, Tricare will waive the deductible if the client receives a referral from their primary care provider (MD) to seek civilian mental healthcare services.
We have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy.
