It’s time to feel grounded in who you are & start living life on your own terms.

It feels like life has just been happening to you for as long as you can remember. You’re someone who puts a lot of pressure on yourself in general, but especially when it comes to feeling like you “should” know exactly who you are and what you want. The whole idea of trying to change the things you’re unhappy with in your life feels too overwhelming, but you know you’re not satisfied with things as they are.

Maybe you’re someone who’s never fit well into the boxes society has tried to put you in. This could be because of neurodivergence, your sexual or gender identity, or because you don’t conform to “traditional” relationship dynamics. Because of this, you might have found yourself being more passive than you’d like, letting others define your life for you.

Perhaps you’ve been feeling particularly down or stuck lately, or maybe something has shifted in your life or relationships that’s made you realize you can’t keep living this way. Please know that there is nothing wrong with you. Through therapy, it is possible to explore who you are and discover what truly matters to you. I want to offer you a space to do just that.

My Background & Approach

Think of our sessions as a docking station of sorts—where you can show up as you are, find some reprieve, and become reenergized before going back out into the world. If you’ve been to therapy before but had a less-than-great experience, you’re not alone. I value your trust immensely and want to hear what hasn’t worked well for you in the past so we can make sure your experience here is the best it can be.

In fact, I want to be able to have an open dialogue with you about everything. Some of my core values revolve around being anti-racist and LGBTQIA+-affirming, and I want you to feel safe and welcome here with whatever you bring to the table. I’ll never try to make you fit into a mold and am committed to devoting my full attention to you in our sessions. I also have ample experience working with monogamous couples, non-monogamous couples, and polyamorous folx, and can help you learn the tools to thrive in all the relationships in your life—romantic or otherwise.

Not only will I tailor my approach to suit your preferences and needs, but I’ll do anything I can to help you feel encouraged and reassured through this process. Because change is hard, and I’m here to help you through it, not to make it harder.

Some of the methods I draw from include Narrative Therapy, Humanistic and Existential Therapies, and the Gottman Method. These can help us gain new insights on your past and present, and give us a sense of perspective and set of skills to take into the future.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from CSU Fullerton, and my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School. I’ve had professional experience in schools, treatment centers, and private practice, working with trans youth, relational issues, and beyond.

It would be an honor to support you as you explore and learn to embody the fullest potential of who you’re meant to be.
