Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

I believe therapy should be catered to what works for you.

If you’re navigating a difficult chapter of life, the idea of going to therapy might feel both promising and daunting. I want you to know that you don’t have to have it “all together” when you show up here.

Maybe you’re in the middle of a big life change such as a divorce or breakup, grief, or transitioning to college and find yourself stressing about the unknown and wondering what’s next. You might be noticing the way that experiences from your past are impacting your life or relationships in the present. Or, you might not even know how to describe what’s brought you here. You just know you need some support.

This is a safe space to explore and understand yourself, push yourself to new heights, and work on whatever’s holding you back from the kind of life you want.

My Background & Approach

I value the relationship you and I have as therapist and client. When that’s strong, the work we do will be the most productive and helpful for you. I’ll begin our work by allowing you to tell your story and what’s truly important to you in this process, and we’ll let that serve as our guide.

You might benefit from therapy that is more structured with tools and accountability or more open-ended. We’ll make it happen the way that’s best for you. I’m here as your guide and support, and you can expect me to provide tools, explore new perspectives, and point out your progress along the way. I am also Gottman Therapy Level 3 Trained and can help you and your partner learn practical skills to improve communication and restore connection.

I received my Masters's in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. With my Arab-American cultural background, I am also familiar with the struggles of Immigrant families as they integrate into the US. I am fluent in both English and Arabic and have experience working with seniors, adults, teens, and children.
