You deserve to always have someone in your corner.

The relationships in your life feel hard right now. Maybe it’s with your family, your friends, your teammates or coach—whatever it may be, you’re noticing anxiety, self-doubt, or the impacts of painful past experiences creeping into how you connect to the people close to you.

You’re someone who’s used to pushing yourself, whether that’s at school, in sports, or at work. And while that’s served you well in the past, these days it’s become a recipe for burnout, injury, and feeling like you’ve lost yourself. Even when you know you could use some help, actually asking for it? That’s the hard part.

I work with children, teens, and young adults who have loads of potential but feel held back from that potential due to anxiety, trauma, grief, self-doubt, and other challenges.

Through our work together, I want to help you see that you do have choices, you are in control, and you can decide what’s best for you.

My Background & Approach

My primary goal is that you feel supported by me. I offer a warm, inviting, and compassionate environment where all of your emotions—the good, the bad, and the never-talked-about-before—can be freely shared. I want to see you grow, and I’m here to offer you the perspectives and new skills you need to do that.

Our work together is relational: I believe therapy is an opportunity to model healthy communication and connection you can then go out and re-create in your own life. While I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness in my approach, I’m also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. My experience ranges from counseling high school students dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and bullying, to supporting at-risk youth and their families to help them overcome challenges, set goals, and create brighter futures for themselves.

As a Division 1 athlete at Loyola Marymount University and an assistant youth softball coach with California Cruisers Fastpitch, my experience in athletics has also shaped my work as a therapist.  I recognize the unique demands placed on athletes and other high-performing individuals and it’s an honor to get to support them in reaching their fullest potential.
