We’ll work together to help your child succeed.

You’ve noticed something change in your child recently: slipping grades, difficulties with friends, low self-esteem, or emotional outbursts. Maybe they’re in the midst of a big change such as parental divorce or separation, a new sibling, or the loss of someone close to them…and you’re not sure how best to support them.

It’s difficult to watch your child struggle—to witness these big feelings and not know how to help. You are doing the best you can, and it’s okay to ask for support! I’m committed to coming alongside both your child and you on this journey.

We’ll work as a team to give your child the coping skills they need to thrive in adolescence and adulthood.

My Background & Approach

I truly love this work. I consider it a gift to support children in real-time through the things they’re facing and equip them with tools and skills early in life to set them up for long-term success. I also view this as crucial work for the greater community: it’s important to have people in the world who can cope with life’s challenges, and that begins in infancy and early childhood.

In therapy, I’ll meet your child on their level, offering a space where they can express themselves and work through challenges in their own way. Play is your child's most natural form of expression, so we’ll play together and work together to help them fully participate in your family's life, the community, and the world.

I also greatly value your input and participation as a parent or caregiver. Children experience the best outcomes in therapy when there is consistency out of the therapy room, so you and I will also work closely to ensure that you know how best to support your child in day-to-day life.

My background as a school counselor, early childhood educator, and classroom clinical supervisor allows me to better understand challenges in the school and social settings. I hold an undergraduate degree from UCLA in Psychology, with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. I then received my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I tailor my treatment based on the age and needs of each child, incorporating my training in play therapy, Dialetical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
