Together, we’ll help quiet OCD’s false alarms so you can live life with greater freedom and confidence.
You might be living with intrusive thoughts that seem to appear out of nowhere, leaving you questioning yourself, your intentions, or even who you are. Maybe your days are filled with mental rituals, checking, reassurance-seeking, or trying to make the anxiety go away, only to find that the relief never lasts..
Or perhaps you’re carrying experiences that make everything feel even heavier, whether’s that’s navigating identity, becoming a new parent, or making sense of relationships and patterns that began long before today.
Whatever you’re carrying, you deserve a space where you don’t have to hide your thoughts, explain them away, or fear being judged. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to take your life back from OCD.
My Background & Approach
My goal is to provide a steady presence, thoughtful guidance, and a space where you feel supported through every challenge. Rather than telling you what to do, I’ll walk beside you as we face the fears OCD has kept alive, supporting you through each challenge while helping you build confidence with every step forward.
Using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we’ll work together to retrain the neural pathways that keep OCD stuck. Instead of treating every intrusive thought like a 911 emergency, your brain can learn to recognize false alarms and respond with greater flexibility as you build tolerance for discomfort, resist compulsions, and begin making decisions based on your values rather than your anxiety. As you begin to understand how OCD operates, fear and confusion often start to lose their grip. Through psychoeducation, we’ll replace self-criticism with self-compassion and help you feel more equipped to respond differently.
I believe healing happens when we understand both the brain and the person. I incorporate a psychodynamic perspective because none of us are raised in a vacuum. Our early relationships and life experiences influence the patterns we carry into adulthood. We’ll explore those patterns with curiosity and compassion to create space for insight, healing, and meaningful change.
I enjoy supporting individuals navigating perinatal mental health concerns, including prenatal and postpartum anxiety and depression, perinatal OCD, and intrusive thoughts. If you’ve been carrying thoughts that feel frightening, isolating, or too shameful to say out loud, you’ll find a space where they’re met with warmth, compassion, and understanding. I am equally passionate about providing affirming care for the LGBTQIA+ community in navigating identity, relationships, and the effects of minority stress and shame.
I earned my Master’s in Social Welfare with an emphasis in Children and Families from UCLA. My background includes working as a school social worker and serving on the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. These experiences strengthened my commitment to creating a compassionate space where people feel truly heard, especially survivors of suicide and those carrying pain they have felt unable to share.
